Man seriously injured after breaking and entering Stoney Creek – Hamilton | globalnews.ca

Hamilton police are investigating an attempted break and enter Sunday morning at a car wash on the east end of town.

Officers were called to the Easy Clean Car Wash, located at Highway 8 and Greene Road, between 6:30 and 7:15 a.m. after several people called that a large truck had crashed into the business.

Investigators say the suspects struck a male witness with their vehicle, causing serious injuries. The suspects fled the area and remain at large.

Hamilton police continue to process the scene, and canvass the area for witnesses.

Due to the serious nature of the injuries, homicide detectives have taken over.

Investigators are asking motorists and business owners to check surveillance or dash cam video from the area between 6:30-7:15 a.m.

Specifically, officers are looking for video of the suspect vehicle, described as a dark-colored, two-door, Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck.
