Mahindra Scorpio Classic Officially Unveiled in India; Check out features and more – India Times Hindi News

Mahindra has unveiled the new Scorpio Classic SUV in India, which includes a host of new features and design details along with the new Twin-Peak logo. It is to be noted that the largest UV manufacturer in India recently launched the Mahindra Scorpio-N, which will be sold alongside this newly unveiled SUV with the Scorpio name. Moreover, both the SUVs with the same name will strengthen each other’s portfolio in the Indian market. The move is understandable as the name carries on the legacy of being one of the best-selling SUVs in India for the past two decades.

The new Mahindra Scorpio Classic gets two trim levels for the Indian market, namely Classic S and Classic S11. Taking a look at the car might make you realize that the basics of the SUV are the same as the old model, but with a few changes.

The Scorpio Classic now gets a new grille with chrome slats and a new Mahindra logo at the centre. The bumper and bonnet of the SUV have been made bolder and chunkier than before. The grille is surrounded by new DRLs. The SUV gets Scorpio Tower LED tail lamps at the rear. The SUV rides on new 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The new Mahindra Scorpio Classic will be offered with five paint schemes. The color options include Napoli Black, Red Rays, DSAT Silver, Galaxy Gray and Pearl White.

The interiors get several updates Mahindra Scorpio Classic, It gets a new 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android support and screen mirroring. Mahindra Scorpio Classic is available in three seating configurations: two 7-seaters and one 9-seater. A 7-seater option includes two captain’s seats in the second row and a bench in the third row, while another includes a bench in the second row and two jump seats in the third. Meanwhile, the 9-seater gets a bench in the second row and a jump seat for four in the back.

Mahindra Scorpio Classic is powered by the new 2.2-litre turbo-diesel mHawk engine, which produces 132 HP and 300 Nm of peak torque. It transmits power to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
