We have to sit together. We need to analyze things.”

PWD minister Ashok Chavan, who was directly monitoring the election, said, “We were short of votes. We had 15 to 16 votes for the second candidate. We tried to get extra votes from our allies. Considering the strength of MVA, both our candidates should have won. We feel disappointed. We had enough votes and both our candidates should have been elected. The loss of Hundore is unfortunate. Losing our first preference candidate requires a total in-depth analysis by the party. ,

Former CM Prithviraj Chavan said, ‘BJP got 123 in the Rajya Sabha elections and 133 in it. That is, ten more people voted for BJP in the last ten days. This is a matter of serious concern. Congress will recognize who cross voted because our votes were coded. Prima facie, the Congress did not get any first preference vote from the alliance partners.

HK Patil did not wait till the polls were over in Mumbai and left for Delhi to attend a meeting, while state Congress chief Nana Patole left for a private function.

whereas Shiv Sena Pleased with the victory of two of its candidates, its leaders said they needed to see the three votes that did not go to their candidates. Shiv Sena has 55 MLAs, while two of its candidates have secured 26-26 votes, while three votes do not count.

Sachin Ahir, one of the winning Shiv Sena candidates, said, “We also had a strategy to transfer additional votes to our allies, but we will know after a thorough analysis what the party chief will do.” NCP chief spokesperson Mahesh Taapsee said, “The result is not against the MVA. This is the result of horse trading. BJP should tell how its vote share has increased from Rajya Sabha to MLC elections.”
