Love Island star Kaz Crossley ‘freed’ from Dubai jail after being detained

East love island star Kaz Crossley has been released from the A Dubai jail after being arrested on suspicion of drug offenses While in transit through the country.

The 28-year-old social media influencer was reportedly arrested at Abu Dhabi airport on Monday (February 13) but was freed after “fully co-operating” with the authorities.

“Kaz has fully cooperated with authorities and is free to continue his journey,” Crossley’s representatives said in a statement.

They told Sun Crossley was traveling through Abu Dhabi on her way to Thailand when she was stopped by UAE police.

Crossley was then taken in for questioning “in relation to a matter which does not directly concern her, but which the officers felt she might assist with their enquiries”.

The influencer’s name was reported by UAE authorities investigating a video of Crossley at a party in 2020 after the footage surfaced on social media in late 2021.

It was reportedly shot in Dubai in November 2020, when several influencers traveled to Dubai for work during the lockdown in the UK.

Following his arrest at Abu Dhabi airport, a source was quoted as saying Sun adding that Crossley was only “allowed to send only one email” and was not allowed to make phone calls.

“She messaged a special friend whose email she remembered and asked them to inform her family that she was fine but had been arrested on a drugs offence,” the source said. “The arrest was not because of anything he had. As far as we know, it’s all at the bottom of that video.
