Loeb wins again as Dakar champion Al-Attiyah eyes fifth title

Shaybah: French driver Sébastien Loeb won his second consecutive stage and fourth in this year’s Dakar Rally, although Qatari defending champion Nasser Al-Attiyah remains firmly in charge.
Al-Attiyah has a tenuous advantage of one hour 21 minutes over his Brazilian Toyota teammate Lucas Moraes with Loeb a further 16 minutes in arrears.
Loeb – a record nine-time world rally champion – clocked 3 min 4 s faster than Sweden’s Mattias Ekström in his Prodrive, with Moraes third on the 624 km 10th stage from Harad to Shayba.
