Burton, Mich. (WNEM) –A local teacher and church security member have been arrested on 23 felony charges.
Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson announced that David Dews, 48, of Burton, had been arrested during a GHOST investigation.
Swanson said Deuse, a teacher at Mott Community College, had come across a sting for having sex with a 15-year-old girl.
Investigators found infant and child pornography hidden in a secret folder on Deuce’s phone.
“I want you to see this face and I want you to know that hunters are among us. I’ve said it before, they look, and they lurk around us,” Swanson said.
Due to the nature of the investigation, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office believes there may be more victims.

Mott Community College issued the following statement:
“Mott Community College was made aware of the arrest of a part-time employee for alleged irregularities that occurred off-campus and did not involve anyone affiliated with the college. Mott Community College all laws involved. is cooperating with enforcement agencies as this investigation continues. No further comments will be made regarding this personnel matter pending investigation.”
