Lloydminster, Sask. Man charged with murder after woman’s body found globalnews.ca

Saskatchewan RCMP say a Lloydminster, Sask., man is facing the killing And assault The charges were laid after the Wadena RCMP received a report of an assault on Saturday.

At approximately 11:20 p.m. RCMP received a call of an assault on Margo and found an injured woman and infant.

Both were taken to hospital and police later found a dead woman in the house next door, later identified as 51-year-old Sharon Littlewolf.

Police said the investigation indicated a man allegedly injured all three victims and stole a nearby vehicle.

Tisdale RCMP received an assault call around 1:10 a.m. and learned that a man with a stuck vehicle came to a home looking for help, but then assaulted a male resident of the home.

The man was able to restrain the suspect until police arrived, and he was also taken to the hospital.

Police say Brian McLeod, 56, of Lloydminster, was charged with one count of second-degree murder, one count of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault, and one count of possession of property obtained by crime.

McLeod is expected to appear in provincial court on Tuesday.
