Dr Abdul Aziz Al Jarallah
In a previous article I mentioned ancient trade through caravan routes that were active after Islam. When Islam spread during the Prophet’s era, God bless him and grant him peace, and the right-of-way caliphs, regions and institutions became a single state: the Arabian Peninsula, the Arabian Gulf, the Red Sea, Yemen, Iraq, the Levant , Egypt, North Africa and Persia Central Asia and roughly the Indian continent and East Africa, and the capital of this Islamic caliphate is Medina, then Kufa, which means it is a state. The vast navigation did not reach the high quality and safe, which enabled land routes to connect the Arabian Peninsula to the countries: Eastern Islamic World, West and East Asia, Central Asia, the Levant and Yemen, and Iraq, North and East Africa in addition to the Arabian Sea. .
So this is a map of the ancient world, which can be used to develop land routes (carriers) and trains to extend the interior of the state, in light of the international turmoil in the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea. Therefore, commercial transport takes place in two cases:
– First: Foreign trade through land ports with the Gulf countries, Yemen and Jordan.
Second: local internal trade between the internal regions of the state.
Internal trade is extremely important for the development of the economy of the interior regions, and thus we activate the north-south axis of the state on the axis of the central region, the equation of the maritime axis of the east-west. Axis of South Central: Al-Jawf, Northern Limit, Jai, Qasim, Riyadh, Nazran. It is a reciprocal trade between the north and south poles, and is a tributary of the east-west outlying axis, and aims to develop the trade of the interior regions and convert them into intermediaries and open outlets and commercial trade.
