Lakhimpur Kheri case accused Ashish Mishra’s sample sent to the lab to confirm dengue: Jail official

The sample of Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister Ajay Kumar Mishra, who is in jail in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case, has been sent to the laboratory for confirmation of dengue.

“It is not confirmed whether he (Mishra) is suffering from dengue or not. His sample was sent for examination on Friday. The picture will be clear once the report comes,” Lakhimpur Kheri district jail superintendent PP Singh told PTI.

Eight people, including four farmers, were killed in the violence that broke out during a farmers’ protest at Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh on October 3.

So far 13 people including Mishra have been arrested in connection with the incident. PTI
