Lakers’ Anthony Davis faces scrutiny from ESPN star for sitting during LeBron James’ big shot

NBA World Celebrated Lebron James The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder 133-130, tying the all-time scoring record on Tuesday night.

Jalen Rose, an ESPN analyst who played in the NBA for several years, targeted Davis for sitting through the celebration.

“Yeah, Greenie, it’s a really big deal,” Rose said on ESPN’s “Get Up” on Wednesday. “And I’m not going to cheat it — it’s one thing they lost the game. Anthony Davis, it was a high-level game, he didn’t play well. … He’s a professional. Of course, he wanted to win. They ended up losing.

Rose said he didn’t think the Lakers would try to trade Davis to sit on the bench while James took the shot at making history.

“But it’s not a long-term relationship when your second best player, Anthony DavisDeliberately not celebrating LeBron James in a moment the whole world is watching,” he said. “It’s a poor look at Anthony Davis.”
