Knicks star goes wild when he finds out team reportedly trades for former college teammate

With the Thursday afternoon trading deadline, nba teams Trying to grab their last chance before advancing to their playoffs.

It’s safe to say that Jalen Brunson is really excited about what his new York Knicks allegedly did.

ESPN reported on Wednesday that the Knicks acquired Josh Hart, with whom Brunson played at Villanova, from the Portland Trail Blazers.

Brunson had his number turned down by the Wildcats on Wednesday, and shortly after the ceremony, he looked up trade news on his phone.

And he started getting mad.

“Oh s—!?” he shouted, showing the news to his friends and family.

Hart and Brunson spent two years together villanovaWinning the National Championship in 2016. Brunson added another title two years later while Hart was in the NBA.

The Knicks are 30-26 and currently ranked seventh in the Eastern Conference, which puts them in the play-in tournament. The Miami Heat are currently seeded sixth at 29-25.

To complete the deal, New York sent Cam Reddish and a protected 2023 first-round pick to Portland.

Brunson is averaging a career-high 23.2 points per game in his first year with the Knicks. Hart averages 9.5, but returned 14.9 per contest last season.
