Kansas City Zoo shares adorable photos of animals enjoying Chiefs game day

While KMBC has always been partial to Chief’s Fur Baby Fridays, the Kansas City Zoo went with something a little more exotic. The KC Zoo on Sunday shared adorable photos of several animals enjoying some special Chiefs game day snacks. The fun certainly didn’t stop there! The zoo’s advanced animal care experts photographed some of the animals, all gleaming some Kansas City pride. Of course the photos included a goat, not to be confused with Casey’s goat Patrick Mahomes. Perhaps the highlight of the zoo’s exhibit was a video featuring some of their larger animals. Footage shows camels Missy, Kizzie and Pearl working together to destroy a carboard box decorated with the Pittsburgh Steelers logo. After hitting the box, the trio delivered a decent stomping to the Steelers decorations. The scene in the video didn’t differ much with the Steelers in their playoff matchups with the actual Chiefs. From the Roadrunner to the “Red” River Hog, a ton of Casey’s cutest critters are found in the Chiefs’ “Animal” Kingdom. Work. Considering the KC Zoo has about 1,700 animals, it’s impossible to imagine what kind of sportsmanship the zoo might show next week. If you’re hoping to catch any of them in person, you’ll have to wait until Tuesday. The zoo is closed on Mondays in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Service Day. The zoo says it is using the day to give staff time to volunteer in the community.
