Justin Thomas reacts to some after winning the PGA Championship Bolting for PGA Tour Pros LIV Golf on Wednesday.
Dustin Johnson and Louis Osthuizen were among those who canceled their PGA Tour memberships, reports indicate Bryson DeChambeau and Patrick Reed are right behind them. Thomas said it was a “bummer” that those golfers left the Tour.

“I’ve thought about it a lot, and people are entitled to choose what they want. I don’t dislike DJ anymore. I don’t think he’s a bad friend. I’m not going to treat him any differently. He is entitled to choose as he pleases,” said Thomas, via golf channel,
“I think in the day and age we live in, it’s so negative that you see it in everything. Sports, politics, whatever — if you disagree with someone, you feel like you hate them.” are entitled to do and speak badly of them and reject their judgment when everyone is entitled to have their own opinion.

Thomas, who is gearing up for the RBC Canadian Open later this week ahead of next week’s US Open, said he still believes the PGA Tour is “the best place in the world to play.”
