Health Minister of Jharkhand Banna Gupta Sahibganj Civil Surgeon Dr Arvind Kumar has been directed to investigate the matter.
Kumar has constituted a six-member committee and directed to hand over the investigation so that action can be taken against those found guilty. The private hospital management has taken three people to Kolkata for treatment of the visually impaired. The exact number of victims is not yet known.
The victims had gone to remove the bandage on Friday when they felt that they had lost their eyesight. On this his family ransacked the hospital.
