Japanese Prime Minister Kishida may attend TICAD in Tunisia

Tokyo: Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio is expected to attend the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) in Tunisia in August to discuss the food and energy crisis caused by the situation in Ukraine.

Japan’s Foreign Minister Hayashi Yoshimasa said: “We will very closely monitor the situation regarding the infection caused by COVID-19, but if different circumstances allow, Prime Minister Kishida at TICAD 8 Will go to Tunisia to attend.”
