Heavy rains lashed Chennai on Sunday night, flooding the streets of the Tamil Nadu capital with sewage water affecting flight services.

In Chennai, areas including Mylapore, Saidapet, Porur, Ekkattuthangal and Ambattur received heavy rains. Due to the rain, there was a traffic jam at some places in the city.
