Delhi Capitals retain Rishabh Pant as captain IPL 2022 Mega Auction. Apart from this, he has also retained Axar Patel, Prithvi Shaw, Enrique Nortje. Iyer took the captaincy of Delhi midway Gautam Gambhir In IPL 2018. The following year he was made captain of the new franchise Delhi Capitals, where the team reached the last four for the first time in seven years.
