Taapsee Pannu tied the knot with Danish badminton player Mathias Boe in March. They chose to keep the wedding a private affair, with only family members and close friends attending the festivities. However, videos from the wedding and sangeet ceremonies were leaked on social media after the event, confirming the news of the marriage. Now, Taapsee’s wedding planners have taken to social media and shared a sneak peek into the sangeet night.
The video showcased lavish decorations, featuring chandeliers adorned with candles at the dance venue. The decorations included a starry, fairy-lit entrance to the main venue, and the entire space was beautifully adorned with flowers.
Sharing the video, the wedding planners wrote, “Exclusively step into @taapsee & @mathias.boe Sangeet night. The entrance was all things magic mixed with stardust and love. We created this entrance passage shimmering with twinkling chandeliers setting the stage for an evening filled with show lights, music and some crazy dance performances!” Fans on the internet expressed excitement and dropped red heart emoticons in the comments section.
Previously, several photos and videos from the wedding festivities were leaked online. A video from the sangeet ceremony went viral, showing Taapsee and her sister Shagun dancing energetically to Bollywood songs. In another viral video, Taapsee was seen walking down the aisle in a traditional red outfit.
The Pink actor recently opened up about the wedding. In an interview with Hindustan Times, the actor said, “When you have some big name on board, then the chances of the news getting leaked out are very high, and I wanted to keep it very private. So, my college friend, Mani Bhatia designed all my outfits, and that’s how I wanted. I didn’t have any lehenga in my entire wedding because I wanted to dance a lot on all functions.”
