ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has appointed the Intelligence Bureau (IB) as a “Special Investigation Agency (SVA)” for the category of officer for initial appointments and postings, according to a notification issued by the Establishment Department.

“The Prime Minister is pleased to inform the Intelligence Bureau (IB) as the Special Investigation Agency (SVA) for the category of officers for initial appointment, induction, certain postings abroad and specific promotions,” read the notification.
