IAEA chief: Iran’s nuclear program ‘moving forward’

Madrid: IAEA chief Rafael Grossi told Spain’s El País newspaper in an interview published on Friday that Iran’s nuclear program is “moving forward” and that the International Atomic Energy Agency’s visibility is very limited.
In June, Iran began compulsorily removing all of the agency’s surveillance equipment set up under a 2015 nuclear deal with world powers. Grossi said at the time that it could be a “fatal blow” to the prospect of reviving the deal after the United States withdrew in 2018.
