After the trailer of the upcoming Amazon Original Hush Hush, the character promo featuring Karishma Tanna Inspector Geeta Tehlan was unveiled recently. She plays a no-nonsense and sharp police officer named Geeta Tehlan in the thriller series as she tries to unravel the truth behind a murder.
With this, Tanna joins the cops of Prime Video which includes Manoj Bajpayee, who played the role of Shrikant Tiwari in The Family Man, and Jaideep Ahlawat, who played the role of Hathiram Choudhary in Paatal Lok.
Sharing his excitement about playing a cop for the first time, Tanna said, “It was amazing to be in the same league as Manoj Bajpayee and Jaideep Ahlawat. I feel inspired watching him on screen and I have learned a lot watching him. I notice his body language and the way he speaks. This is the first time I am playing a cop, so I am really excited about it.”
She revealed that she doesn’t mind taking away the sheen and going de-glam with her web outings. “When I first met Tanuja (Chandra; director) ma’am, she asked to go completely de-glam for this role. Be it my posture, my walk, or my body language, he asked me to completely change it to suit the role. It was great and refreshing for me to play a horror copy,” she said.

Talking about your experience working in another amazon prime After Guilty Minds the original series, he said, “Hush Hush is my second series with Prime Video this year and I am very excited to be a part of this wonderful story. Directed and co-produced by Chandra, Hush Hush also stars Juhi Chawla, Soha Ali Khan, Kritika Kamra, Shahana Goswami and Ayesha Zulkha. It will release exclusively on Prime Video on September 22.
