The Middlesex County OPP is investigating after human remains were found at the Thames Center on Wednesday.
Police say they were called to Hamilton Road at around 1:50pm after someone’s remains were found on the banks of the River Thames while fishing.
A post-mortem examination is to be conducted to attempt to identify the remains and determine the cause of death.
The investigation is on.
“There are detectives in the area and they are going to be talking with local people, trying to see if anyone has any information,” said Const. Jeff Hare with the Middlesex County OPP.
