How the Sattvik movement is bringing natural change in the lifestyle of the people – India Times Hindi News

Are we connected to nature? anyhow? We live our lives inside buildings made of concrete. We care about nature, and therefore, we are deprived of its benefits. As a result, there are life-threatening diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, thyroid, and PCOS/PCOD (only in women), which are steadily tightening their grip on the human population. It sounds like a severe lifelong punishment and suffering, but patients committed to a change in mindset report finding relief and even disease free by following a sattvic lifestyle and eating habits.

Sattvik Andolan, a holistic health education platform, is at the forefront of helping and guiding people in alleviating their suffering through sattvik measures and lifestyle changes. Started in August 2017 as a holistic health movement, the platform has transformed the lives of millions by spreading awareness and educating people about the sustainable benefits of a sattvik mindset.

“Satvik lifestyle is a gift from our ancestors and gurus. It teaches us to live a simple and disease free life. It involves eating natural and healthy, following nature’s treatment, having a healthy program like our great-grandfathers,” says Suba Saraf, cofounder of the movement.

Drishti aims to guide those wishing to develop sattvic sensibility and inspire others to reconnect with nature. It regularly engages with the community through personal interactions and workshops and an active social media presence through major social platforms. Currently, it has around 4.12 million followers on Youtube, 452k followers on Instagram, and 70k followers on Facebook.

The Sattvik movement was not a well-planned idea or initiative. Both its founders have struggled with their chronic health conditions, which they corrected through sattvic methods. His own medical visits had such a significant impact on him that he decided to dedicate his life to sharing this timeless health knowledge with the world. Over time, the platform has evolved into an education platform based on three pillars – holistic lifestyle, natural diet and daily yoga. “We are building an ecosystem, a parallel sattvik universe. It is a ‘movement’ because it is an initiative for the community. We want to create a large community of passionate individuals who have embraced the ‘sattvik’ and co-created a sattvik world”, says Harsh Vardhan.
