“You should go with five bowlers and if Hardik Pandya or someone else in the top order bowls a few overs, it will be the perfect team for me,” he added.

Hardik has not bowled a single over in the IPL 2021 and T20 WC warm-up clash which could jeopardize his position in the final. However, Sehwag said that if he is batting well in the nets, then the flamboyant all-rounder will be his first choice.

“His batting is definitely a matter of concern. If he is not in form or is not batting well in the nets, you can probably see another batsman, otherwise, he will be my first choice,” he said.
