Wang, 45, agreed to pay $1.4 billion in restitution to the United States and forfeit a similar amount, according to Manhattan US Attorney Damian Williams.

He faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison on charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
