Guelph, Ont. Police close Eramosa Road after receiving report of gun man – Guelph | Globalnews.ca

Guelph Police Service says there were no firearms Found in a house in the Eramosa Road-Mayer Drive area.

They got information about someone walking around with a gun at around 2:30 pm on Tuesday.

Police closed Eramosa Road in both directions and cordoned off a large area as a precaution.

One person was seen leaving the house and was immediately taken into custody.

An investigation revealed there was no firearm and the man was later released without charge.

After about an hour the road was opened for traffic.
