- Former MD of Bharatpe said – 1000 people will get employment if I invest 10 crores in business
Ashneer Grover, who lost the post of Managing Director of BharatPe on charges of financial irregularities, is in discussion about the dining table these days. Business news company Bloomberg had claimed that Ashneer’s family eats at the dining table worth Rs 1 crore. On this Ashneer has clarified that neither I have any such table nor do I intend to buy such a dining table.
Ashneer Grover, former managing director of BharatPe, tweeted, “I don’t have the Guinness World Record for the most expensive table ever. Nor do I intend to do so. I will create jobs by investing money in business. I will do 10 crores in business.” I will invest Rs. and create employment for 1,000 people, so that they can earn a respectable meal for themselves. Don’t fall for lies, you will lose your credibility. Grover commented on the news website Ghar Ka in his tweet. Dining table is also posted.
Bloomberg said that Ashneer Grover spent $130,000 (Rs 1 crore) on a dining table. The BharatPe co-founder said that his dining table was not even 0.5 per cent of that amount.
resigned last week
Ashneer Grover had resigned from Bharatpe only last week. Fintech firm BharatPe last month sacked Ashneer’s wife Madhuri Jain Grover over alleged financial irregularities. After this Ashner Grover also resigned from the company. The Grover couple has denied all the allegations against them.
