Government App Cab ride from August 17 Thiruvananthapuram Information – India’s example – India Times Hindi News

Thiruvananthapuram: Labor Minister V Shivankutty State-owned online auto-taxi community said ‘Kerala Savari‘ will release in the state on August 17.
The minister said on a pilot basis that the services will be started in the state capital and will be implemented in other districts in a phased manner.
“The goal is to bring all the autos and taxis within the state under one community by providing an honest package deal to the motorized vehicle home owners and laborers. This is the first time that the state government is coming out with a web based auto-taxi service,” he said. The minister said that to ensure the safety of passengers, especially women and children, only drivers who have obtained a no-objection certificate from the police would be allowed to register themselves in the auto-taxi community.
The ‘Kerala Savari’ app will act as a panic button which can be used by the passenger in case of an emergency. This panic button will guarantee privacy and drivers will not focus on the passenger alerting the police.
The minister said that in addition to the auto and taxi fares fixed by the government, only 8% service charge would be taken. The service cost of various app-based taxi providers is up to 25%. The minister said the service fee would be used to run the service and supply incentive incentives for drivers.
