BERLIN: German state-owned rail company Deutsche Bahn said it plans to transport grain from Ukraine to German ports by freight train.
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine – two major global wheat suppliers – has driven up the prices of grain and other food products. It has halted Kyiv’s exports, leaving dozens of ships stranded and nearly 20 million tonnes of grain stuck in silos in Odessa.
