During a Marvel Studios presentation at San Diego Comedian-Con, company president Kevin Feige hinted that the Avengers are gathering once again, with back-to-back motion pictures scheduled for 2025. This has been confirmed by a latest report. Revealing that Destin Daniel Cretton may direct the following Avengers film.
Although 2019 Avengers Endgame marked the fruition of part three of the MCU, the upcoming Avengers movie starring brand new superheroes has been recently launched by Marvel Studios. Responding to The Hollywood Reporter, Destin, who directed last year’s Marvel hits Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings, may also direct Avengers: The Kong Dynasty. The report also mentioned that Destin is expanding the story for an upcoming live-action collection that includes Surprise Man. The collection is part of the final Avengers film that Destin Sarkar will produce and possibly direct an episode or extra. The Hollywood Reporter noted that Destin is teaming up with Andrew Visitor who wrote and produced the comedy equivalent of Brooklyn 9-9 and the group.
Responding to the news, Shang Chi actor Simu Liu shared an impassioned tweet that read, “Three years ago at SDCC (San Diego Comedian Con) 2019, Destin and I sat backstage at Corridor H. We’re looking at one from the side. The earth takes the stage. We checked each other like ‘The rattle, is this really happening to us right now?’ It’s going to be the f**king king!”

Destin and Simu are effectively collaborating once again for the Shang Chi sequel. The film was significant as it marked the main Chinese-Canadian actor as the protagonist and that too as a superhero of Asian descent. The film grossed $432 million worldwide.
During last week’s Comedian Con, Marvel introduced some exciting motion pictures and collections, including Wakanda Without End, She-Hulk, Daredevil, The Multiverse Saga, Avengers: The Secret Wars, and Captain America.
