‘Freedom Convoy’ organizer Pat King to review bail in court on Wednesday Globalnews.ca

OTTAWA – “Freedom Convoy” Organizer Pat King Ottawa is in the courtroom today to review the bail.

He returned from his last bail review in April, when his lawyer’s computer came to a sudden and unexpected halt due to a hack.

Since then, he has resorted to a new lawyer to fight for his release and defend him against mounting charges.

The day after the trial ended abruptly, the Crown announced that it would bring additional perjury and obstruction of justice charges against him.

Today’s proceedings also fall under the publication ban.

King was arrested on February 18 for his involvement in a three-week protest against the COVID-19 restrictions that spread through the streets of Ottawa.
