“With much enthusiasm (and some nervousness), I have decided to run for the position of councilor at Kelowna City Hall,” Weber announced on his Facebook page. Been thinking of jumping into municipal politics for some time.

Municipal elections across the province will be held on October 15.
Weber said he would fund his own campaign, and that he would not accept any financial donations “and any expectation that night comes with donations.”
