In a video, which was shared on Instagram by popular food vlogging account The Great Indian Foodie, a chef can be seen pouring dal makhani on the cold pan of an ice cream roll machine. After this, the cook pours some cream over the dal makhani and mixes it well.
Once the dal makhani paste becomes smooth, the chef spreads the mixture on the pan. As the mixture begins to set, the chef then scrapes them into three rolls and serves with naan and onions.
The video of this odd meal preparation has garnered over 5,600 likes on Instagram. Despite garnering thousands of likes, the post has irked many eaters. Expressing his disdain for Dal Makhani Ice Cream Rolls, an Instagram user commented on the video, “Daal and ice cream is ruining us”. Another person wrote, “Stop it, get some help!”.
