Aaron Quinones, 27, has been charged with attempted felony murder after allegedly trying to strangle an unidentified 26-year-old woman at a bus stop near Miami International Airport around 11 a.m. on January 2.

It doesn’t look like the pair knew each other.

The woman, who appeared to be on her phone and had her belongings, knew that Quinone was behind her when he attacked.

Video footage shows Quinones – who is on her way to or from the airport because she had a neck pillow on her backpack – quietly walking behind her and using her arms to wrap the makeshift noose around her neck. was quietly following him before spreading.

The woman looks back at him as he climbs up, pulls him to her side on the bench as he tightens his grip on her.

The pair scuffled for a moment, before Quinone repeatedly punched the woman in the face as she shooed her attacker away.

The woman is saved by a bystander wearing a green T-shirt, who approaches the couple waving their arms before pulling Quinone behind her, then the video cuts.

Miami-Dade Police Officer Angel Rodriguez said, “If it weren’t for a Good Samaritan, who basically prevented this man from attacking this victim, the outcome would have been worse.”

Police said Quinones had “run away on foot” when a bystander pulled him away from the woman.

The woman was treated on the spot by the fire rescue team and the extent of her injuries is unknown.

The spectators left before the police arrived and now the authorities are pleading for help from the public to identify them.

An investigation into Quinones is still ongoing, and no motive for the attack has been shared.

He is being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on $250,000 bond.

Crime is active within the country, according to Miami-Dade Police, with a total of 28 violent crimes and 50 nonviolent crimes occurring in the first two days of the year.
