The move comes after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) reached out to the commission last week, requesting that universities be asked to decide their admission schedules as per their results.

“It has come to notice that some universities have started registration in undergraduate courses for the session 2022-23. In this scenario, CBSE students will be denied admission if the last date is fixed by the universities before the CBSE result.” Declaration,” the UGC said in a letter to the vice-chancellors.

Therefore, it is requested that all higher education institutions may fix the last date for admission to undergraduate courses after the declaration of CBSE result in order to provide sufficient time to such candidates.
