And his description of how the legendary cricketer was at ease and apparently in good health when he left him deepened the mystery surrounding his sudden death.

He took off his clothes and lay down on the bed to massage him with oil. He was very easy going and comfortable.

‘He was very friendly and put us at ease. It seemed that he was enjoying himself a lot.

She continued: ‘Her massage lasted for two hours and everything was fine. He seemed completely healthy and when we were done he gave us some great advice.

When we left his room he seemed fine. He said goodbye and that’s it, everything was normal.

‘We were both in such shock when we found out later that he had died.’

As the last people to see Warne alive, Bowie and Plu-Gun are interviewed by the Thai police.

Detectives on the island have denied any wrongdoing. The postmortem revealed that he died of natural causes.

The cricket star’s body was brought to Australia yesterday. His family, including ex-wife Simone and their three grown children, waited at Essendon Airport in Melbourne to meet them on a private jet from Thailand.

The star’s coffin was wrapped in an Australian flag in the back of a white van that passed by her mother, who appeared to be holding a white rose.

Fans had gathered outside the airport to pay tribute to him.

Warne went to Koh Samui for a four-day ‘lad’s trip’ and was on the sun-drenched island less than 24 hours before the tragedy.

In the police report of her death, four masseurs, including Bowie, Plu-Gun and two other women who had spent a few hours with Warne’s friend, were pictured leaving the hotel.

Warne was supposed to get a foot rub and nail treatment at the hotel pool at 5 pm.

But when he did not reach, another masseuse and hotel maid knocked on his door.

When he did not respond, Warne’s friend Andrew Neofito broke into his room and found the star in the room unresponsive.

Mr Neofito gave him 20 minutes of CPR before paramedics arrived and took him to the Thai International Hospital in Koh Samui, where he was pronounced dead.

Police chief Yutana Sirisombat told MailOnline: ‘He called the girls for massages.

‘It was just a massage. He did not die because of the massage. He was not well.

Detectives revealed on Saturday that her friend found her room with blood stains on the carpet and vomited after performing CPR at least 20 minutes before paramedics arrived.

Thai authorities believe Warne’s death was not suspicious, while also noting that no alcohol or cigarettes were found inside the luxury villa.

Two blood stains were found on the carpet at the foot of Warne’s bed, as well as three blood-stained towels and a pillow and a mattress. Ambulance staff also reported vomiting from the bed.

Paramedic Anuch Han-im told media at the scene that when he and his aide answered the emergency call, Warne’s friends were already trying to revive him by performing CPR.

‘They were desperate. I think someone was crying. They were really tense and nervous,’ said Anuch Han-Iam.

‘They kept trying to wake him up and I heard someone say, ‘Come on, Shane, come on, Shane’.

‘I could see they were all shocked and I just tried to concentrate and do my best.’

Mr. Anuch said the room was clean and there were no signs of partying.

‘I did my best for him and gave all my energy. I’m so sorry I couldn’t help her,’ he said.

Former Hampshire cricketer Warne, one of the biggest names in the history of the game, was suffering from asthma and had recently complained of chest pains at home in Australia and went to see a doctor over his heart issues.

He had gone to Koh Samui on Thursday evening and was staying at the resort for £2,000 a night.

The next afternoon he went to a local tailor to be fitted for a suit before going back to his room and requesting a massage.

Concerns have been raised that Warne may have been straining his body with a grueling 14-day liquid-only diet, as Warne put it on social media, before flying to Thailand. Just completed it. Three months grace period.

Warne’s manager James Erskine, who was also in Thailand, said: ‘He went on such a ridiculous kind of diet, and he ended up with one.

‘It was a little all or nothing. It was either white buns with butter and lasagne.’
