What’s open and closed across the Waterloo Region on Family Day
The area of Waterloo International Airport will remain open.
Grand River Transit will operate on a holiday schedule.
GO Transit will operate on a Saturday schedule.
There is regular curbside garbage collection. All garbage sites and administrative buildings will be closed for container pickup.
All areas of Waterloo libraries, children’s centers and home child-care offices will remain closed.
All LCBO stores and beer stores will remain closed.
What’s open and closed on Family Day in Cambridge
The Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory will remain open.
Cambridge Arts Center will be open from 1 pm to 4 pm
McDougall Cottage will be open from 11am to 4pm
The WG Johnson (1:30 to 4 p.m.) and John Dolson (9:30 a.m. to 12 noon) centers will open for Family Day activities.
All arenas are closed except Hespeler Memorial Arena, which will be open for Family Day activities from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Kitchener’s Market will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for special programming, including Kids in the Kitchen, board games, trivia and more.
THEMUSEUM will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for TriCon KW.
The Ken Seeling Waterloo Region Museum will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Homer Watson House and Gallery will close.
Josef Schneider Haus is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery is closed, will be open from 1 PM to 5 PM for special activities.
All Kitchener Public Libraries will remain closed.
Breithaupt Community Center Pool 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Forest Heights Pool 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Lyle Hollman Pool 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., 4:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 6 p.m. Will be open till o’clock. For public swimming from :15 to 7:45 p.m. Cameron Heights Pool will open for a fixed rent.
Odds and arenas will be open for rent. The Administrative Office and Activa Box Office at The Odd will remain closed. Lyle S Hollman Walking Track at Activa Sportsplex to open at 7am

Bechtel Park Manulife Soccer & Sports Center will open for regular programming at 1 p.m. ET.
RIM Park Manulife Sportsplex & Healthy Living Center will open for regular programming at 4PM
The Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex will remain open while the Swimplex will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Adult Recreation Center will remain closed.
Waterloo City Hall and the Waterloo Service Center as well as the Albert McCormick and Moses Springer Community Centers will remain closed.
The Clay & Glass Gallery will be closing.
