EA taps Microsoft executive as new chief financial officer – Bharat Times English News

Video game publisher Electronic Arts Inc. on Monday named Microsoft executive Chris Suh as its new chief financial officer, replacing Blake Jorgensen.

Suh currently serves as the Corporate Vice President and CFO of Microsoft’s Cloud + AI group since January 2018. Prior to that, he was general manager of investor relations at the company for five years.

Last year, EA said https://reut.rs/35FoF8D Jorgensen, who has been the firm’s finance chief for more than a decade, would step down. Company insider Laura Milley has already taken over as chief operating officer, Jorgensen’s other role.

The company said Suh, whose role will be effective March 1, will report to President and Chief Executive Officer Andrew Wilson. Jorgensen will be with the company through the summer to assist with the transition as well as special projects.

The “FIFA” publisher is expected to report quarterly results after the market closes on Tuesday.
