Udaipur City-Shalimar-Udaipur City train service will remain suspended from July 23-24 due to development works in Bilaspur Division of South East Central Railway. Some train services will remain canceled due to non-availability of interlocking work in both the directions. Railway operations have been disrupted due to the commencement of work on the third line at Singhpur station of Burhar-Shahdol section.

Captain Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer, North Western Railway confirmed the news and South Eastern Railway tweeted about it. “Cancellation of trains due to development works in Bilaspur division. In view of development works in Bilaspur Division of South East Central Railway, the following trains will remain canceled: 20972 Shalimar-Udaipur Express will remain canceled from Shalimar on 24 July 2022. 20971 Udaipur-Shalimar Express will remain canceled from Udaipur on July. 23, 2022,” read the tweet.

Apart from Udaipur-Shalimar train, trains of North Eastern Railway have announced cancellation of these trains from 8-24 July:
– 15231 Barauni-Gondia Express will remain canceled from 21-23 July
– 15232 Gondia Barauni Express will remain canceled from 22-24 July
– 18201 Durg-Nautanwa Express will be canceled on 8,13,15 and 20 July
18202 Nautanwa-Durg Express will remain canceled on 10th, 15th, 17th and 22nd July.
