Delhi News Live: 326 new Kovid-19 cases reported in the city, 3 deaths

In the next six weeks, Govind Pratap Kurmi (28) would have been happily married. The date was not decided yet but the preparations had started. He had asked his employer to keep his salary for two months for a consolidated payment which he could use for the wedding expenses. However, an accident, in which he was one of four people killed on Wednesday night, shattered those plans, his family said.

Officials said that after seven missed deadlines, the much-awaited Ashram Underpass in southeast Delhi will finally be completed by the end of the month and will become operational on or before March 31.

“Work on the ashram underpass is almost complete and is on target – only the roof, ramp and finishing touches are left – and will be completed by the end of March. Once it is inaugurated, commuting to central Delhi and Faridabad will be smooth,” said a senior PWD official associated with the project.
