The daily Covid case count in Delhi dipped on Thursday, coming down to 25 in the last 24 hours.
Since July, the daily positivity rate in Delhi has stabilized around 0.1%. This week the positivity rate has been below 0.07%. It further declined to 0.04% on Thursday. In the last 24 hours, 69,160 people were tested, out of which 25 tested positive.
This is the lowest number of cases in 24 hours in the last 15 months. 32 cases were registered in 24 hours on 1st April, 2020.
Two deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours. Till Thursday, the number of active cases in the city stood at 448. More than half of these patients are currently hospitalized – over 250 hospital beds are occupied across the city. Earlier this month, there were 582 active cases in the city and 521 beds were occupied.
