Deion Sanders asked about Colorado head coach job in hilarious way by reporter

Sanders, however, has not said whether he is taking the job, which has led reporters to follow him until he reveals his intentions for the next season and beyond.

One reporter had a very clever way of doing this.

“You know my favorite team is kansas city chiefs, right?” Jackson State University’s Robert Jewitt asked Sanders in a one-on-one interview. “Next week, they play the Denver Broncos in Colorado. I’m going with you? Are we going for a ride together?”

Sanders immediately started laughing and Jewitt couldn’t help but go off-camera as the conversation began.

Sanders smiled to the camera, saying, “It’s nice out there. I have to admit it’s nice now.”

“I’ve never been there, but I’m going next week when the Broncos play [Chiefs] in Denver, Colorado. I just wanted to know, can we ride together?” Gewit asked again.

The exchange continued with Sanders supporting the reporter. But even when the laughter ended, Sanders didn’t reveal what he was up to.

His Jackson State Tigers don’t have a game next weekend. If Sanders’ 11–0 team wins the SWAC championship, which is expected over the 7–4 Southern Jaguars, they will face the winner of the MEAC in the Cricket Celebration Bowl on December 17.

So, as the reporter said, Jackson State will not play next weekend. Could Coach Prime be traveling to Colorado to discuss a possible new opportunity in his coaching career?
