Obviously, the only prayer I can think of at this time is for him and his family; To him a safe recovery, and to the most terrifying feelings he must go through.
The reality for us is that we see constituents all the time, both in their homes and in surgeries.
We’re out and about, we’re always available, we should be available, that’s the most important bit that makes the British parliamentary system one of the most accessible in the world, and that’s because we want it that way. Huh.
We don’t want to be intimidated or afraid to do something different, and I certainly won’t, and I know my colleagues will feel the same way.
So, I hope that as I’m saying, it will be resolved very, very quickly. But we would certainly like to continue the way we do things.
Of course, some other elements can be added to it as well. But, despite this, I want my components to have full access and I’m sure David must have felt the same way.
