The owner of the Boboys believes the driver may have fallen asleep behind the wheel.

“He feels really terrible about it. He was driving with his sister, she was in shock, I hope they are fine too,” wrote the owner of the Boboys on Facebook.

The restaurant is a popular spot in the Village, located along 7th Avenue. The Boboys said that after the accident, the community came together to help them.

“We had a bunch of people fixing and putting it back together and cleaning it up! I am so grateful! Every time I think about it I burst into tears,” wrote the Boboys owner on Facebook.

The Keremeos RCMP attended the scene and an investigation determined that criminality was not involved.
