Shaw, who performs for Impact Wrestling, made the allegations in a social media post.
“I’ve been bullied my whole life and I’ve never stood up for myself because I’m afraid I’ll be beaten up physically, mentally or emotionally. The bullies in my life have always silenced me, but that ends today.” Is!” Shaw said in a statement.

“I was at an autograph signing ceremony today at wrestlecon And as I was walking to my desk, I heard someone yelling, ‘You’re a man,’ ‘You’re a dude,’ ‘You’re a piece of garbage,’ ‘You’re filth,’ ‘Go away — — so far from here.’ I put my head down and kept walking because I didn’t want to accept that hatred.
“When I got to my table, I spoke to the other Impact Wrestling talent who was signing with me and they mentioned this incident. It didn’t sit well with me and I wanted to know who said that. Because that’s unacceptable, so I decided to take a walk in the area and I heard someone make the same derogatory comment. I looked at the person and it was Rick Steiner. I was shocked and couldn’t believe it. Couldn’t believe this was happening. Those comments to say to someone that many people watch and consider their hero were quite shocking and disappointing.
“I was in disbelief so I asked her. ‘Excuse me?!’ He kept repeating those hateful phrases and started yelling at me in a public setting. It was inexcusable and unacceptable.”

Shaw said there were two other “wrestling legends” sitting there who did not engage in the confrontation.
“Given that experience, it was more important for him to see something go wrong than to stand up for what is believed to be (sic) someone being bullied And doing what is right.
“I’m not writing this because I want sympathy. I’m writing this because I’m being bullied into silence. Today is International Transgender Visibility Day and I’m standing up for myself and for other people who are okay.” go through the same situation.” a daily basis. Steiner did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment. He was reportedly removed from WrestleCon events on Saturday.
Shaw came out as transgender in 2022. She has been a mainstay of the independent wrestling circuit for many years.

Steiner, 62, is mostly known for his career world championship wrestling In the late 1980s and mid 1990s. He and his brother, Scott Steiner, were seven-time tag-team champions. Their tag-team was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame last year.
