Arlington (CBSDFW.COM) – A 9-month-old boy, who was unruly and evicted during a freeway accident in Arlington on Sunday, died Tuesday, police said.
Officers received a call just before 2 p.m. in the lanes on the east side of I-20 near Highway 287.

According to police, the driver of a 2009 Ford Escape SUV suddenly swerved in front of an 18-wheeler, causing the 18-wheeler to collide with the rear of the vehicle.
The accident pushed the SUV off the road, where it rolled several times, taking the child out.
“There were a total of seven people inside the escape, which is designed to seat five people,” police said. “The 9-month-old boy, who investigators believe was sitting unrestrained on the lap of an adult passenger at the time, was ejected from the vehicle.”

A total of six people, including the girl child, were taken to the district hospital. None of the other injuries were considered life-threatening.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner identified the dead child as Hector Zadquiel Escamilla Perez of Fort Worth.
Arlington Police said no one has been charged at this time.
