Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce scoff at ‘rebuilding’ comments during Super Bowl parade

Vibes were high in Kansas City on Wednesday Chief Brought his second Vince Lombardi trophy to the championship parade in the last four years.

The Super Bowl LVII champions chatted with their fans aboard the parade bus and celebrated their 38-35 victory. philadelphia eagles on Sunday.

Once they reached their destination, speeches were made and Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes had a few things to say to those who doubted the Chiefs.

“Let me take you back to 2022, probably the month of April,” Kelsey said. “Guys were being signed left and right. Haters were saying the Chiefs would never make the playoffs. Haters were saying the Chiefs were done.”

Kelce began by asking the crowd to cheer if he thought the Chiefs would have the best offense in the league, win the division and eventually the Super Bowl. Of course, they agreed.

Ultimately, the Chiefs finished with the best regular-season offense despite the loss of Hill. JuJu Smith-Schuster, who was signed to a one-year deal, leaned more heavily on Mahomes Kelce, using the likes of Jerrick McKinnon out of the backfield and more. The trade of Kadarious Toney by the New York Giants also worked as he had a touchdown and a key punt return in the Super Bowl.

Mahomes and Kelce build quite the rapport, and as the former said, it never seems to slow down no matter what trades are made. With head coach Andy Reid at the helm, the Chiefs are on the cusp of building a dynasty, if they haven’t already.
