Heading into the game, the Chiefs knew they were going up against the second best defense in the league during the regular season in points allowed per game. Eagles allowed 20.2 points a game, good for seventh in the NFL.
But he led the NFL in total sacks while receiving quarterbacks 70 times in 17 games. They also showed up in their two playoff games against the New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers leading up to matchups in Glendale.

The trolling began even before the Chiefs celebrated on the streets of Kansas City.
JuJu Smith-Schuster posted a Valentine’s Day card that took a shot at Eagles cornerback James Bradberry’s critical holding penalty at the end of the game. The call set up the Chiefs’ game-winning field goal.
“I’ll hold you when it matters most,” said the card.
Bradberry indicated that he made the second team All-Pro this season, his first with the Eagles. Teammate AJ Brown was more straight forward with his rebuttal.

“First of all congratulations. You all deserve it,” Brown wrote on Twitter, “This is lame. Before Mahomes resurrected your career on your 1 year deal Tick-Tock Boy, you were out of the league. He admitted he caught you, but you like that Don’t work with or ever did. But congrats again!”
Patrick Mahomes also joined in with a subtweet of his own.
“That guy must just be bored,” said the Super Bowl MVP, in reference to Brown.
