OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Giving to others is the holiday season.
A special gift to two CHI health workers with cancer, their own co-workers showing how much they care. This one hairstyling sitting CHI Supervisor April Morrow never thought twice.
“That would look so cute on a little girl’s head, wouldn’t it?”
In front of all his co-workers, Christiane Page is asked to help. She’s hoping she doesn’t mess with the style.
“It adds to the excitement.”

“We’re going to stand in solidarity and raise some money for them.”
Christian was diagnosed with breast cancer a month earlier.
“I was well, it could very well be so I think I cried more when I was diagnosed than when I got the lump,” Page said.
April’s flowing locks quickly filled a plastic bag.
“It quite frankly sounds fantastic.”
Waiting for the Wings, Nikki Blodgett is next.
“Worry. Just sitting in that chair causes panic.”
“Actually, I’m not as nervous as seeing him.”
Tracy Bomer will assist and with scissors in hand, nerves will return and more love will go into the bag. This is Tracy’s third bout with cancer.
“It’s like I always said, the first time I got cancer it was a disease. And now it’s a shadowy character following me,” Bomer said.
Christian and Tracy know they both have tough days ahead. This outpouring of love from his co-workers has given him hope to move on.
“The support of thinking they’ll do it for you is just wonderful.”
“It’s awesome, what I think I just can’t describe it. You don’t really know who you’re dealing with, but then when you have people like that, come out and you feel loved by them.” “
With their new assignments on, April and Nikki show off their looks for all to see.
Christian Page says she still feels the same way she did when she was first diagnosed. Adding she “will always be Christian.”
Tracy Bomer says that despite dealing with cancer for the third time, she still has a lot of Harleys waiting for her.
