Charles Barkley Will Leave TNT If He Joins LIV Golf, Says Dan Patrick

Charles Barkley said that recently he would meet With LIV Golf About to potentially become the broadcaster for the Saudi-backed golf chain.

The cause of the ripple effect is unclear, but broadcast legend Dan Patrick revealed on Tuesday that Barkley may be quitting his job. On TNT for LIV Golf,

“He is the most valuable voice in sports media. You throw in all the commercials, because he could lose those commercials, a lot of these players who went on the LIV tour lost the commercials. Charles knows he Might lose them,” Patrick said on his radio show.

“So if you’re going to go after Charles Barkley, you don’t have a TV deal and you have David Feherty, what are you going to give Charles Barkley? And Charles says he’s going to listen to him, trust me. That’s tomorrow night and decide what he’s going to do, and he might have to leave TNT. So it’s a big deal. And Charles knows he might have to leave TNT to do that.”

When questioned by his producer Paul Pabst, Patrick said he was just telling what he was told and that Barkley knows that “he may have to leave TNT.”

Barclay raised the idea When to join LIV Golf he said he would meet “100%” with officials from the tour.

“I’m going to meet LIV,” he said at “The Next Round” golf show. “Always to be transparent and honest, they called me and asked me if I would meet them. I said yes. Nothing is imminent. I really don’t know everything they want from me or they are technically What do you want from me.But you always have to look at every opportunity available.
